The First Day
After your appointment, I will either wrap it with cling film or adhesive second skin film, depending on your skin and tattoo.

Cling film: Remove film after no longer than 2h and wash it gently under warm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and allow it to fully dry before applying a small amount of aftercare cream.

Second Skin film: Leave film for 24h and remove it carefully under warm water, by pulling a corner away from your skin. Do not try to pull it hard, as your skin might be sensitive and it might damage the tattoo. Once film is removed, wash it gently and pat dry with clean paper towel. Allow it to fully dry before applying a small amount of aftercare cream.
Healing Process
For the next 2-3 weeks, wash gently and apply a small amount of cream 2x a day (morning and evening). There is no need to wrap your tattoo with film anymore.

It takes 3-4 weeks for a tattoo to fully heal. Please avoid the sun, ocean, swimming pool, bath (showers are fine) and sunscreen for at least 2-3 weeks.

Avoid the gym for the first 3 days as its full of bacteria and stretching the tattooed area is not the best for your new ink.
Special Attention
Around the 4th-6th day, your tattoo will start to dry and scab a little. This is normal so don't worry. Avoid scratching and peeling the scabs and keep it moisturised to help with the itchiness.

Some people have sensitive skin with plastic, so if you feel like you're developing an allergy from the second skin film, simply remove it before the 24h is up. Your tattoo should heal without any issues.
